MSwab is a Collection, Transport and Preservation System intended for the collection and transport of clinical specimens containing Gram positive aerobic bacteria, and HSV 1 and HSV 2 viruses from the collection site to the testing laboratory. MSwab has been qualified by Roche specifically for use with their cobas MRSA and HSV 1 and 2 molecular platforms.

• DUAL PURPOSE SYSTEM: MSwab medium creates a homogeneous suspension of swab sample that enables the user to perform either traditional culture for Gram positive aerobic bacteria, and HSV 1 and HSV 2 viruses or rapid molecular assays, specifically Roche cobas MRSA and HSV 1 and 2.

• EASY TO USE SYSTEM: Samples transported in MSwab can be simply mixed and loaded directly onto the cobas® without any prior sample treatment.

• CUSTOM KITS AVAILABLE: Available in 1 or 1.6mL fill, with COPAN FLOQSwabs or in bulk. Custom configurations are also available.
